Who we are

This website is run by Affordable Roofers. For anything to do with your personal data, email affordableroofersuk@gmail.com or call 07727 419452.

What we collect

When you fill in a quote form we receive your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the type of roofing work you need, when you need it done and anything else you choose to type in. We don't use tracking cookies or advertising pixels on this site.

How we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, send a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and invoice the work. We don't sell your details or add you to a marketing list.

Legal basis

We rely on legitimate interests to answer an enquiry you've sent us, and on contract once you ask us to quote for or carry out work.

Who else sees it

Form submissions pass through Web3Forms, which forwards them to our email inbox. Your details may also be passed to the roofer who carries out the survey and work, strictly for that job. We never share them for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within 12 months. Customer records are kept for up to six years for tax and guarantee purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email us and we'll respond within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
